LXX

It's Friday and I'm on my 70th blog post. I can't let the week end without writing something but... oh my, I can't squeeze my creative juice as of this moment. I want to post my Baguio weekend getaway but I don't have the complete photos yet so let's scratch that. What should I blog about?

But since it's raining, let me show you what I wore a couple of weeks ago when typhoon Falcon hit the country:

All covered up! My little booties soared higher! Double purpose.

I was waiting for Pao to finish his work at his Mom's office. We were doing some sorts of errands there for my birthday party so we took some pics first to kill time. Forgive the grainy resolution! Btw, sorry for that awkward smile. I hate myself when I smile like that. Meh!

Brown tank top from Topshop | Checkered scarf from Aldo | Knit jeans from Herbench | Brown suede shoes from Janylyn

Finally! My smiling face, that's it! I chose these iPhone photos over the few ones taken using my boyfriend's DSLR. All not good, except for this one:

CLOSE UP! I'm loving my facial skin now, it's glowing! You know my secret (HIHI)? It's Pond's White Beauty Naturals with Camellia Leaf Extract Day Cream. I'm giving it an A+! I am an avid Pond's user, so I'm not scared of trying all their (new) products for I know my skin won't be harmed. It's my greatest alternative to Shu Uemura most especially when I'm financially handicapped.

Pond's got the best endorser for its new product--Angelica Panganiban! She fits the role, and this one's perfect for her Pantene Nature Care shampoo TVC. Mother nature ang peg!

And while we're at TVCs, I want to share you guys one of the best commercials in local TV! The agency behind Sky Broadband's TVC deserves a highhhhhh five!!!

"Delivery"

"Wedding"

"Pregnant"

From boots to Pond's to TV commercial, let me say thank you! Thank you for reading my 70 kikay blog posts! Thanks for the support, the praises and the time you spend reading it! Much appreciated! Expect much more exciting entries from Superloved. :)

Cheers,

PS: LXX is 70 in Roman numerals, hence the title. :)

Beauty Breakout 2011

My friend Kim is one of Anne Curtis's biggest fans. She adores her like yeah. So when I visited Paolo's Mom in her ad agency office a couple of weeks ago and saw Palmolive Naturals Soft Moisture promo materials, I asked them if Anne Curtis will grace the event. All of them said yes, I couldn't believe it. But when it's Pao's Mom that said it's true, I giddily informed Kim that she could possibly meet Anne in person.

Two nights before, I found this sample booth setup at the CIMC office. For real na talaga!

Robinson's Supermarket had its "Beauty Breakout" event last weekend featuring different products from Procter and Gamble, Penshoppe and Colgate-Palmolive.

Pictures from Pose and Print

One of the event organizers asked us if we're willing to sing on stage to the tune of Palmolive Natural's TVC jingle. This would grant us a backstage access so we said yes. This for the love of Anne Curtis!

Backstage. Wearing Royal Kouture snakeskin crop top, CLN snakeskin flat sandals, Dollhouse denim pants and Longchamp Bamboo tote. (My first time to use that Longchamp.)

Backstage with Anne Curtis Smith! Her beauty is priceless! ♥

 Kimmie + Susie + Anne

The crowd, bigtime! How... can... we... sing... in... front... of... them...?

Anne: Wow, beautiful girls with red lipsticks!

We started singing. Good thing Susie's got a good voice! :D

Experience! Haha. It's a 3-minute fame. We loved it! People are watching you, people are taking pictures of you. Afterwards, Anne went to the booth.

Don't you just love her? She's so down to earth and she greets everyone. She deserves all the blessings she's receiving now! Truly the Twitter and billboard queen! :)

100 Years of Nestle

Nestle will always be a part of the Filipino families' daily lives. I started drinking Milo when I was 3 because I don't like the way milk tastes. But just like any other kid, I made papak Nido when Mom's not around. Fresh milk and Bear Brand Sterilized Milk are such exemptions because I find it yummy. Growing up, I munched on Koko Krunch alone and when I finally had the chance to drink coffee, of course we had Nescafe and Coffeemate at home.

My other Nestle favorites are Fruit Selection Yogurt, Chuckie, Maggi Savor (haha, yes!), KitKat and Butterfinger. Safe to eat, nutritious, delicious.

Other than giving us "Good Food, Good Life", Nestle is also passionate about quality and is very committed to reach their consumers exactly the way their brands become everyday essentials. They make sure to touch our hearts.

For their 100th year as the leading nutrition, health and wellness company, Nestle Philippines has made a mark yet again with their newest TVC:

The very first time I saw this TVC, it made me teary-eyed. I even thought it's for Nido alone. Omg, whoever conceptualized and directed this TVC is a genius! Not to mention the part where the couple got married.. very 90's! I clearly remember the style of the groom's barong and the bride's teased hair--my favorite part. Watch it all over again you'll see Nestle's most famous brands like Bear Brand, Milo, Nido, Nescafe, Coffeemate and Nestea. I hope I didn't miss any here. :) Plus, plus, plus! The song will really make us cry. Aww. ♥

Thank you and congratulations, Nestle Philippines! More power and continue to uphold the values of good food and good life! :)
