Good Stuff

New additions to my growing collection! I got good stuff to add to my shoe, accessories, bags and lippies family.

I have bombarded my Instagram with these finds I truly heart. I love them even better because I got them for such a low price and some were just given to me by my ever supportive Mom and Dad. They are all kikay, they really define me.

Flat shoes.

I love colors, I love shoes. My savings always go down because of shoes. And when my eyes find a good pair, believe me, I won't sleep peacefully or I will dream about it constantly until I get my hands (and feet) on it and call them MINE. It may sound selfish but I bet a lot of girls can totally relate. It works with everything, not just on shoes alone. But in my case, it happens most of the time only with shoes. And last week, I got these red, yellow and blue Solemate flats! Exclusively available at SM Department Stores nationwide, these babies are sold for only Php 299. I got five colors now and I can't wait to have pairs in black, pink, green and brown!

Accessories.

My Mom surprised me with an overload of earrings, necklaces and bracelets last Friday night. She was planning to give it to me on a Saturday but since I got home earlier than the usual on a weekend, she rewarded the good girl in me. No sibling rivalry here, my Ate is not into girly stuff and my youngest sis has skin asthma, she's only allowed to use pure golds and silvers. And Mom knows me too much she knows how to spoil me! She has an eye for fashion! Check out her choices above: elephants, owls, and studs. Truly, mommies know best!

 Bags.

If there's something cool from Mom, then there must be something cute from Dad. My Dad and I always enjoy grocery shopping and when I'm with him, I check out stuff for little girls. I don't know why but it has become a habit (I think it's clearly because I'm a forever daddy's girl, I always feel I'm just a 7-year old when I'm with him ♥). We check out Hello Kitty, Disney Princesses and Barbie, like, all the time! And these bags caught my attention on the day I forgot to bring my wallet to the mall... OK, I did not bring my wallet because I didn't want to spend a single centavo on that very same day and I know I'm financially safe because I'm with my Daddy! Hahahaha! So yes, he bought those two bags (the third bag was given to me by Dad last Christmas) of the same design but of different styles. My father has the sweetest heart!

 Lip balms.

Matryoshka dolls, Kimi dolls, Barbie dolls, I like dolls! But these dolls hurt our pockets like yeah. But what are you going to do if you see these pretties above? And what would your reaction be knowing that these are not just "dolls" but these dolls are lip balms and these lip balms are sold for only Php 35 each? I almost freaked out and instantly haggled for a lower price (insert a big hehe here). Bulk buying is cheaper and I wanted to take them all home. The seller is too kind to give it to me for only Php 25 each. I have no plans of using them because I have extra sensitive lips but I love seeing them now in my lipstick case. Oh tiangges, what am I gonna do without you? :)

My new stuff occupied another space in the room. Good thing I had a general cleaning last week and gave away clothes, shoes and other things I no longer use to those in need. For whichever taken away from you or for anything you have given away wholeheartedly, come blessings with a greater value on the time you least expect!

To Those Asking

It's twelve days before Christmas but I haven't crossed out anything on my Christmas gift list yet. I'm sort of intrigued why such thing is happening because if I'm not mistaken, as early as December 5 last year, there are already wrapped presents under our tree. I promise to get this thing done this weekend, though. I'm almost late for Christmas!

Looking on the bright side, I have received questions on what I want to receive this Christmas. Yes naman!!! :) So for the benefit of doubt (or those in doubt, hahaha), I'm HEREBY listing some of the things I want to get this Christmas. And for the first time in my life, I wish my parents will be able to read this post

1. A simple tote. No brand required, I take even the cheapest ones as long as it can carry all my stuff around. Any color will do, too but if you still want to know which color I prefer the most, brown.

2. Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Please don't ask me why but for me, this is the best eyelash curler in the world! I haven't moved on from my stolen SU eyelash curler in Baguio until now.

3. Anything animal-printed and Hello Kitty. A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G.

4. Flats shoes. I love heels but I love flat shoes even more. They're so comfortable, very chic and we can never go wrong with a pair of flats. Good thing my work doesn't require me to be in heels so I welcome these kinds of babies! And heels, if you still insist! :) (P.S.: Size 8/38)

5. Makeup brushes. Please help me complete my kit! I adore makeup brushes, synthetic or natural hair brush, I would appreciate.

6. Shining, shimmering! Any clothing that will make me shine and sparkle even more. Hoho! But seriously, I'm in love with these gleaming and glistening drama.

7. Blazers. I love topping off any outfits with blazers to complete a corporate yet super fashionable feel. Tip: Items from ukay-ukay/thrift stores are accepted.

8. Clear storage boxes. I have a penchant for transparent cubes of all sizes which allow me to store anything. And they make my life easier, no need to play hide-and-seek with things I'm looking for.

9. Makeups and more makeups. A cosmetic addict like me can never have enough lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes but as of the moment, I need concealer and eyeliners. No brand required. :)

There you go! Please be my Santa, dears! In the end, you will still be the judge. I accept anything even if what you're planning to give is not listed here. It will always be the thought that counts. Plus!!! If I wouldn't be able to receive all of these, I'll do anything to have these by myself. Remember, Gossip Girl said, "If you want something badly enough, you have to go out and get it yourself."

A Floral Affair

It's another official statement, I love floral prints. I have already proclaimed my love for animal prints and nautical designs, and now it's my turn to tell the world how much I adore this feminine vibe.

Last Saturday, Toto and I decided to drop by Forever 21 in SM Makati after spending chill hours in Starbucks Greenbelt. The second we entered the shop, a floral dress hanging by a rack caught our attention. Toto knew I would impulsively buy it so he told me to fit it in the dressing room. I said I wanted to buy some clothes for Justin Bieber's concert but I had a mini-dilemma that I'd be coming from a regular meeting before going to the concert venue so I thought of buying a dress! Haha. Obviously I didn't want to bring another outfit at work so I just wore it yesterday with a blazer.

 Vintage floral bag, P355.00

And just last week, I bought a new bag from an Ukay (thrift shop/vintage shop). Original price is P355.00 but since I'm practicing my haggling skills, I got it for only... P200.00! Not bad! What I liked about the bag is that it doesn't have a zipper or lock. I prefer bringing bags like this on an everyday basis and yes, look at the prints! It reminds me of Cath Kidston!

CATH KIDSTON BAGS.

YES! Cath Kidston is one of my favorite brands from London because of its soft, feminine designs! Aside from bags, CK also has products like shoes, linens, kitchenware, etc. Check out their website linked above. :)

FOREVER 21 SHOES.

Omgaaaah, shoppergasm. Forever 21's shoe collection has floral pairs too! I want NEED to buy the first pair, it's a t-strap! I absolutely love t-strap footwear that I almost have 5 pairs of it in different styles. Plus, the floral design is so chic, so Victorian-inspired! I'm going to check local stores like Tomato and Possibility, I saw few floral pairs in their collections too!

Clockwise from the bottom: Asos Leora Floral Bow T-Bar ballerina, Santi clutch, Rah Rah flat sandals, Topshop MOTO Yellow Floral hotpants, Desire Clothing denim shorts, Topshop Beige Peter Pan-collared floral playsuit, Jil Sander Floral-print Silk Mini Dress, Topshop Chiffon Floral dress

I Polyvored more inspirational fashion pieces with floral accents and designs and these are my top favorites. I'm eying on 3 stuff there: the ballerina flats, Peter Pan-collared dress and the denim shorts. Bigger floral collection awaits my closet and I am so excited!

Glad that I'm able to share my wardrobe's favorites. So far, I have animal prints, nautical and floral. Up next is another fave, of course. Any wild guess? I've already mentioned it in my previous posts. It's up there, ha!
