My Best Friend's Wedding

Phoebe has finally tied the knot with his long time boyfriend, Ruffy! Yay I love weddings! It makes me fall in love over and over again!

The beautiful bride. What is payat! <3

I love cakes!

Her wedding served as a mini reunion for us girls, too! We rarely see Miles and Cheenee is back from Macau. We still hoped Anne, who's based in Spain, was with us since she's also in the Philippines for a vacation.

iPhone photo since Cheenee's not yet uploading! Meh!!!

Mommies' day off este day out!

Congratulations and best wishes, my dear best friend!

Hmm I wonder who's next! We're getting O-L-D!

My Cousin's Wedding

Just a short preview of what made my heart melt last week. My beautiful cousin, Leng, and boyfriend Kelvin tied the knot. Their wedding ceremony is one of the loveliest weddings I ever attended to. Simple, elegant and fun. It really made us all fall in love with this couple. Their vows inspired me and I couldn't help but think and daydream about my own wedding. <3

Our bride.

A beautiful picture of the bride and her parents. His dad is my dad's brother. :)

I feel so honored to be a part of her entourage. It was actually my first time to be a secondary sponsor! And here's my 6-month baby bump, rocking my midnight purple gown:

And to those who keep on asking me why my bump is "small", trust me, it looks big in real life! I even asked my OB if my belly size is normal. She answered me yes. It means there'll be lesser chances of me giving birth via CS!

Oh there goes my bump! :)

I love this family picture of ours!

Baguio pose, remember? :D

Cousins with the bride.

The super happy bride and mom-to-be! <3

Thanks for a wonderful night of love and inspiration, Leng and Kelvin. We wish you all the best and many, many, many more years of love, fidelity and happiness.. and more babies!

June Bride

One last hooray for June!

It's been a week since I last updated my blog, my Marianne x Hello Kitty post was a headline for days now. I had a happy birthday week and summery weekend with my Girlfriends despite the cloudy days. But before I tell my story about our happy Subic beach adventure, please let me introduce to you the third bride in my college group.

My friend Maan tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend PJ. When we were still in school, she's the only one who's excited for marriage. And we're very happy that after years of dreaming about becoming a bride and a Mrs., it finally came true. As usual, a bride walking down the aisle made me shed tears. I always cannot help it. I can't remember a wedding without me crying for joy!

Their wedding day was the same day I threw my birthday bash. I only attended the Church ceremony and left for Discovery Suites right after. It was one spontaneous day with two special celebrations our closest friends had to attend. So happy they made it!

Mr. and Mrs. Sales ♥

Maan Castaneda-Sales, finally!

From debut to binyag ng anak to wedding days!

With Kimmie!

When the ceremony's over, we had to let Maan know that we were there. We also had to get her attention so we can take photos with them so we moved to the front seats after.

Kim, Cham, Kim E., me, Susie, Jovy and Phoebe.

I honestly forgot that her wedding and my birthday were on the same day so I did not get the chance to get a new dress to wear. Luckily, Paolo's mom gave me a new dress from her recent Paris trip, so there!

Girlies in heels!

WAKEY!

Newlyweds! ♥♥♥

Maan really looked so happy and ever more in love. We can't wait to see her son Inigo in the next two months. Love, love, love makes the world go 'round! Now we wonder who the next bride is gonna be! We're getting old and merrier!

M+K by ruffaandmike.com

It was exactly a month ago when my friend Kim married his then boyfriend, now his husband, Mon. Remember the love we all felt when we attended their wedding and blogged it on my entry Kim + Mon? How about the freedom to pose a la Preview/Tattler given to us by the official photographer Ruffa and Mike?

Finally! The official photos are now posted on the photoblog of the wedding's official photographer. I'm really sorry for grabbing (by screencapping) these photos but I acknowledge that these are owned by ruffaandmike.com. Thank you, Ruffa and Mike, if ever you get to see/read this! :)

The Entourage

Pia and I doing the Dougie as requested by the couple.

Waiting for the couple to walk down the aisle.

A lot of memories flashed back. I can't believe it's been a month since Kim became Mrs. Inciong. I wonder how they're doing now because I haven't seen them since their wedding day. I miss the soon-to-be-mom!

And lastly, who would forget this mobile photo I posted on Facebook--?

This photo may not look like me (I now believe that eyes can change everything, look at my brows and lashes, so not me!) but I swear, it's me!

Now I wonder how and what my wedding feels and looks like respectively. Maybe in three years, or four, or five. Let's see!

Photo Booty!

Sharing you the plain formats from the photobooth during Mon and Kim's wedding a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting for the photos from Ruffa and Mike though! I wanna see the flower/garter portion of us! Really can't wait!

Anyway, quite sad that I don't have a set with the other girls/friends. I was so busy eating!!! Paolo and I just pleased the photobooth people to allow us to have a set taken aside from the bridesmaids and groomsmen's turns. Booooooo!

With lovey! ♥

Paolo and I seldom abuse free photos haha! We have one or two shots taken during his cousin's wedding and our friend's baby boy's baptism.

 Manoy & Ninay, March 2011.

Kobe's Christening, January 2011 (Can't find the collage-like one!).

See how much we've changed! My hair and his hair are longer! Going back, during M+K's wedding--

The couple with the groomsmen. The bride is so purdyyy here! ♥

The bridesmaids (me, Susie, Jovy, Pia and Rachel) with Kim and...

Rachel's Christian Loubotin! #shealready

That's it! I miss updating my blog with recent events, I swear I'm so busy with work now. And something really cool is about to happen but naaaah I'm still not sure about it though. I'll keep my mouth shut and will not talk about it until I confirm it. :)

Kim + Mon

Remember my blog about a thing called love, a story about my friend Kim and her boyfriend Mon? It is such a sweet honor to be a part of their marriage, like calling yourself a member of the entourage with your name written on the invitation cards, having that special seat reserved for you and your fellows, walking graciously down the aisle with all eyes on you and THAT feeling of I-am-this-close-to-the-couple's-heart. Nothing beats. I was once a flower girl so all I cared about then was my basket full of flowers and my white stockings--my fashion staple when I was a kid. Now that I'm a grownup and already a bridesmaid, aside from spending sleepless nights deciding on which kind of shoes to match with my gown, knowing the importance of marriage is the best thing to learn. So to the newlyweds Kim and Mon, thank you for letting me be a part of your marriage because like you, I believe in this Sacrament of love and I believe in love. ♥

The wedding happened last Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Mt. Carmel Parish in New Manila, QC. It was a morning wedding. The ceremony started at exactly 9:00. Ashamed of myself for missing the grand entrance of the bride, Jovy, Susie and Rachel and I arrived a few minutes after Kim walked down the aisle. :(

The celebrant reminded me of the late Pope John Paul II.

The bride's long veil covered the flight of stairs which leads to the altar.

Solemn and happy moments of the couple!

The bridesmaids: Pia, Susie and Jovy & me and Rachel.

The groom's lovely sister, Kitty.

Captured by the boyfriend.

I love this shot! This is how the couple looked like after the officiating priest said, "You may kiss the bride."

It's official! Husband and wife. (Look how Mon looked so proud!) ♥

Flower girls, ring and coin bearers, maid of honor, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen.

Ansaveh ng pose ko? :)

This cutiepatootie little girl reminded me of The Sound Of Music's Gretl!

Me, as a whole! Hehe :) Shoes from Janylyn!

Another favorite. With Jeff, Pia, Susie, Rachel and Jovy.

The bride is so beautiful in any angle.

After the ceremony, the couple asked the bridesmaids and the groomsmen to stay for a while for a quick pictorial before proceeding to the reception. Ruffa & Mike is the wedding's official photographer, videography by Jake Olaso. I liked how he gave us the justice to strike any pose a la Preview or Philippine Tattler. I'm so excited to see them! How long does it usually take? :)

The celebration continued at the nearby events place, The Oasis Garden. Hearing our tummies rumble due to limited food intake (mahirap na baka di magkasya ang gown) a couple of weeks ago did not stop us from doing the Dougie as requested by the couple. They wanted us to dance "Teach Me How To Dougie" with them. I love how they danced it, effortless yet graceful!

FEU represent! Phoebe, Miles, Me-An, Kim E., Susie, me, Jovy and Susie :)

Girlfriends plus Cham.

The groomsmen David, James and Jigs plus one.

Wacky, according to them, is tongue out and peace sign. I disagree.

Paolo playing around.

We got the garter and the flower! Yeddddah~

Last time I saw them was a year ago. Happy to be reunited with Miles and Cheenee!

My best friend who looks like Ginger Conejero looked like Venus Raj! :D

With my Kumare! Cham is so pretty that day! Love her makeup and orange accents allover!

With Jovy and our "almost" matching gown design.

With Susie and our identical leg positions!

With the loveliest girl, the bride. Kimmie looked so regal here! Barbie-inspired!

More group shots!

Again, congratulations to Kim and Mon! Seeing them together on their wedding day gave me another reason to believe on the magic of love. I can't help to daydream of being the bride but I'm not in a hurry, of course! There is just something about weddings that I can't describe and Kim justified the true meaning of being the woman, the daughter, the bride and now, the wife. Definitely waiting for my turn but that might take a couple of years, or three or more. For now, I'm waiting... for the official photos from Ruffa & Mike. Counting the days! I wanna see how it turned out.

♥,

PS: God's blessings are really infinite! Two days before their wedding, Mon took up the customs broker licensure exam and four days after, the board exam result was released. Gladly, Mon's name is on it. Another reason to celebrate, indeed! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Inciong! :)
